Forum Administrators and Moderators can add topics and subtopics to the Forum.
For each topic, message posting may be restricted (allowed or dis-allowed). Please refer to posting permissions for more information.
panFora's hierarchical structure gives the Administrator or Moderator freedom to create a detailed custom organization of topics and sub topics for discussion.
In the Forum you may create a hierarchical structure of topics nested under other topics:
  Topic A
Subtopic A1
Subtopic A2
Topic B
Subtopic B1
Subtopic B2
Sub-Subtopic B2.1
Sub-Subtopic B2.2
Subtopic B3
Subtopic B4
Etc.
  Nomenclature:
Within the hierarchical structure, we differentiate between Top Level Topics and Subtopics:
Top Level Topics refer to the highest elements in the hierarchical structure
(such as "Topic A", "Topic B" in the example above).
All lower levels in the hierarchy are referred to as Subtopics
(such as "Subtopic A2" or "Sub-subtopic B2.2" in the example above).
However, outside of the hierarchical context, we refer to all these elements as Topics.
