panFora Topics - Rename a Topic


	Forum Administrators and Moderators can rename panFora topics and subtopics.

	Renaming a topic will not affect its messages, or its posting permissions.

	Note: Topics are listed alphabetically, so renaming topics may affect the topic listing order.

To Rename a Topic

	Select Rename under [Topics] in the Menu Frame
	The Task Frame updates to display the Top Level topics.
	Tip: To rename a subtopic, please select its Top Level topic.

	In the Task Frame

	1.Select a Top Level topic to display it and its subtopics.
	If you want to rename a subtopic, please select its Top Level topic.
	2.Click
	The Rename Topics Form is displayed in the Editing Frame.

	The selected Top Level Topic, and its entire hierarchical tree is displayed.
	Tip: Each lower level in the hierarchy is indented from its higher level.
	3.Retype any topic name you wish to rename.
	You may rename more than one topic at a time,
	Top Level topics and or subtopics.
	Note: Same-level topics should have a unique name.
	Organization Tips:
	Topics are organized alphabetically, in the following order:
	1. Special Characters (Non alpha-numeric)
	2. 0-9
	3. A-Z
	4. a-z
	4.Click
	If the Topic Name already exists in the same hierarchical
	level, an error message will appear, and the renaming
	process will be aborted.
	Wait for the confirmation message to ensure the changes
	were made correctly.
