Forum Administrators and Moderators can delete panFora topics and subtopics. | |
Warning: | |
Deleting a topic will delete all its posted messages. | |
Deleting a topic will also delete all its subtopics and their messages. | |
To Delete a Topic | |
Select Delete Topics under [Topics] in the Menu Frame | |
The Task Frame updates to display the Top Level topics. | |
Tip: If you wish to delete a subtopic, please select its Top Level topic. | |
In the Task Frame |
1.Select a Top Level topic to display it and its subtopics. | |
If you want to delete a subtopic, please select its Top Level topic. | |
2.Click | |
The Delete Topics Form is displayed in the Editing Frame: |
The selected Top Level Topic, and its entire hierarchical tree, | |
including all existing subtopics are displayed. | |
3.Check the checkboxes next to all topics you wish to delete. | |
If you select a Top Level topic, it will be deleted with all its subtopics. | |
If you select a subtopic, it will be deleted with all its subtopics. | |
All messages in the deleted topics and their subtopics will be deleted. | |
4.Click | |
To prevent mistakes, a confirmation form is displayed before | |
permanently deleting the selected topic(s). |
5.Click Yes to commit the changes. | |
Click No to abort. | |
6.Click | |
The Editing Frame updates to reflect your changes. | |
You may continue to delete topics, or you may choose another Admin | |
function from the Menu Frame. | |
Wait for the confirmation message to ensure the changes | |
were made correctly. |
