Only Forum Administrators can enable or disable panFora Forums | |
Disabling a Forum will not affect any of its existing databases (such as users or messages) | |
Note: You may choose to disable a Forum at any time, and later re-enable it. | |
To Disable a Forum | |
Select Enable/Disable under [Maintenance] in the Menu Frame | |
The Task Frame updates to display all the installed Forums. |
Tips: | |
If you are uncertain if a Forum is enabled or disabled, check the following Stats at the top of the Task Frame: | |
Currently Enabled - lists all the currently enabled Forums. | |
Currently Disabled - lists all the currently disabled Forums. | |
1.Select a Forum to enable or disable from the pull-down menu. | |
Warning: | |
Selecting [All Forums] or any Forum other than the one you are currently administrating requires an additional password. | |
If you select [All Forums] from the pull-down menu, your changes will apply to ALL Forums. | |

The Enable/Disable Forums Form is displayed in the Editing Frame. |
3.Click [Enable] or [Disable] next to the desired Forum. | |
4.When disabling a Forum, it is recommended you type a customized Message to Users | |
Users trying to access the Forum will see the displayed message. | |
This Message will be displayed as long as the Forum is disabled. | |

Wait for the confirmation message to ensure the changes | |
were made correctly. | |
The Stats in the Task Frame update to reflect your changes. |
